Signification of ‘SISUNENASARA’
Initially we planned this event as a research project, but now it is expanded as a social work. Here we are focusing to improve the mathematics knowledge of the G.C.E. ordinary level students. Because it is identified that the majority of the students are poor in O/L mathematics . This program is organized as a real time e-learning program. Thereby students can be able to interact with their teachers even they are far away from each other. Actually students who have basic internet knowledge may sufficient to be masters in their O/L mathematics.
Why ‘SISUNENASARA’ Need You
Ø As we are going to select the best teacher who will be able to get the highest votes from the students. we required your sponsorship.
Ø Initially undergraduates are selected as the teachers and O/L school students are going to be join with this event. Therefore we will required your sponsorship to create a strong publicity among school students and within different faculties too.
Ø We have to be equipped with teaching aids like multimedia projects, cameras, microphones etc. In the continuation we may have to transport them to selected schools (Initially schools around Balangoda and Ratnapura)
Ø As we are planning to broadcast the event via internet, we need to have high speed broadband connection with a proper bandwidth.
Ø As we planned to arrange stationeries, T-shirts and several gifts to the students.
